Make sure server path has no spaces! Empty Make sure server path has no spaces!

Post  Bowmiester Sun Sep 11, 2011 9:57 am

Found a bug today while trying to move my Minecraft server files. Mine Control won't start your Minecraft server if any folder in the path to the Minecraft server has any spaces!

Examples of paths that should work:
C:\MinecraftServer
C:\users\bowmiester\MinecraftServer

Examples of paths that won't work:
C:\Minecraft Server
C:\users\bowmiester\Minecraft Server

I'll try to get a fix out to handle spaces, but in the meantime, make sure the entire path is space-less. Sorry about that!

What kinds of issues are you seeing? I'm working on the next update, just had to finish up a different project first!

Make sure server path has no spaces! Empty Glitches and Ideas

Post  sirharry0077 Sun Oct 23, 2011 10:53 pm

I use the latest bukkit with mine-control and I found these problems.
1. Shows person as logged in more than once.
2. Doesn't show that some one is logged in.
3. Will not shut down from my iPhone.
4. Glitches and slows down entire server when i join from iPhone.
5. I assigned only certain permissions to some ones iPhone account but they could do anything.
6. Lag!!!!(more than normal executable)

Things you should add:
1. Auto start and stop
2. Better mine-control iPhone app permissions
3. iPhone notifications
4. More updates

I love mine-control, but i have stopped using it because of those problems. If you can fix them and add my ideas I will for sure start using it again.
