Mac Server - Server Error in '/' Application
Server app launches but when you open the web admin you only get the follow .NET error.
/Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/Version/2.10.4/lib/libgdiplus.dylib
Stack Trace:
System.DllNotFoundException
I did some digging around and saw 2.10.4 was released on August 9th, figured I would try the previous build. Completely uninstalled Mono Framework and installed 2.10.3, same error was the result.
Snow Leopard
Oh and I have manually confirmed the file exists in that location.

lib: mike$ pwd
/Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/Versions/2.10.3/lib
lib: mike$ ls libgdi*
libgdiplus.0.dylib libgdiplus.dylib

Re: Mac Server - Server Error in '/' Application
Thanks for posting that here, makes it much easier!
Are you running the most recent version of Snow Leopard?
I'm going to do some digging and see what I can find.

Re: Mac Server - Server Error in '/' Application
This is worth a shot - The Mono framework says it requires an additional framework called X11. X11 is partially included by Apple in some of the latest updates, but you can install it manually from here. Give that a try and let me know if it helps or not.
Thanks for helping me out with this!

Re: Mac Server - Server Error in '/' Application
That's what my research led me to as well. I did install X11, same version as your link. Rebooted the Mac and yields same results.
Here's a better description of the error that I am seeing:
Latest version of Snow Leopard, 10.6.8
I tried manually digging around in the DLLMaps config file last night, didn't have any luck though. Removing the map resulted in it not knowing the path and just complaining that it couldn't find "gdiplus.dll". I also tried moving the libgdiplus.dylib into a different folder and changing the DLLMap but that didn't matter either, the error just changed to correspond.
Tried other ports as well, none made any difference.
Tried running Mono 2.10.1, 2.10.2, 2.10.3 and 2.10.4 figuring perhaps one would set some environment variables up differently but that didn't work either.
If you've got other ideas I'll definitely try them out, not really a stranger to server side stuff.
